WHY UPRIGHT POSTURE IS SO IMPORTANT?

Upright position is very important for everyone. It improves breathing, blood circulation, sensory and digestive system. In lying child there is a high risk of bedsores, pneumonia and bones weakness.

It doesn’t matter if your kid suffer from orthopaedic, neurological or cardiologic conditions. Upright posture among children with limited motion allows to improve social, functional and emotional skills. The standing position makes the communication with peers easy and improves visual perception and motor activity. What’s more, each step and contact the foot with the ground stimulates the bone’s cells to grow fast and improves skeleton system.

WHAT IS THE KIDS KNEE IMMOBILIZER AM-TUD-KD-02?

Knee immobilizer AM-TU-DK-02 with kneecap maintains the knee in the extension. 3 anatomically contoured aluminum splints stabilize leg perfectly. Additional knee support controls patellar movement and stabilizes weak and injured knee in upright position.
In the rear part, our immobilizer is made of innovative ActiveDistance III™.

ActiveDistance III™ is an active 3-layered fabric made of non-elastic polyamide self-gripping layer, comfort foam and soft fabric. What is important, ActiveDistance III™ is non-elastic fabric so it stabilizes your body in a perfect way. Thanks to using the comfort foam, the device is really soft what influences on the comfort of using it. The last layer is responsible for maintaining your skin dry.

4 circumferential straps allows to adjust required compression, according to therapeutic needs. The fabric is easy to attach and provides wide range of circumferential adjustment. The kneepad is supported by cross straps which improve upright position.

Our kids immobilizer AM-TUD-KD-02 is equipped with 3 aluminium stays which are anatomic-shaped and maintain knee joint in extension. This is very important in case of learning to walk. Additional knee support stabilizes weak knee joint in upright position. 4 circumferential straps allows to adjust required compression, according to therapeutic needs. The fabric is easy to attach and provides wide range of circumferential adjustment. When your kid walks with our immobilizer, its muscles are stronger and all internal systems work properly.
